I cant see any pics on here , all the pics are marked as a link , and when i click on it it says that i cant view the pictures , why is this ? because i would really like to see all the pictures on here , looks like a great forum !
Thanks in advance

you not a paid member. sorry. :(

but the 25 bucks will be pennies in the end for the pics and info on here.

and its a friendly site.:D

i think it kina depends on how the pics are posted.

you should be able to see my rusty pile if i am correct. :D

Rusty pile my ass...I know folks who would consider that pristine.

thats kinda silly that you have to pay to see a few pics!

That's just one advantage of the membership. I looked around here for months. Looking, reading, etc. I finally ponied up so I could see the pics. You know the adage "a picture is worth a thousand words."

Access to those pictures have cost me thousands.:D

X2! i got tired of not being able to see the pics posted as atachments. i think its been the best $25 ive ever spent!

EDIT: oh and AJMBLAZER, thanks. i guess its not that bad not much real RUST (aside from lower fender) just the on the surface from when i was in HS and was gonna fix it up and paint it. :doah: Its just real ugly i think.

Would you consider it "silly" to save hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars in vehicle repairs from the help you'll get around here?

This is the best $25.00 i've ever spent.

<agreed.... pay 75 bucks an hour for a mechanic to do chit and you'll be wishing you spent the 25 bucks.

Google is free. You could head over there for awhile.

I always roll my eyes when this topic comes up. The membership cost for an entire year is about the same as one dinner out. No one is getting rich off of running CK5. Somehow, 53,000 members' worth of bandwidth has to get paid for. It's called economics.

griz I know it sounds strange but like others have said it is well worth it. I am disabled and live on a very limited budget. The $25 I spend here has more than paid for its self several times. I have bought and sold here many items and it is a lot easier than eVilbay. With the membership you get a lot more out of the site. Not to mention you are eligible for monthly cash prize and special vendor give aways.

Lurk a little more post a few more times and you will eventually pop for the membership. If you don't still no harm and you are always welcome here.

Geek sorry you feel that way. I find the information I can search and get information on well worth the price I have paid. I guess it all boils down to what you want out of the site. I can tell you that the guys here are some dam fine people.

I took a 6,000 mile trip last year and had the best road service on stand by. Quite a few members spread out the help blanket if I needed it. A couple opened their homes to me and that alone saved me over $150 in motels.

Not only that but we have a fine network of people who will help you on other things also. I have had members look at parts for me and even get them and ship them to me. When I was a noob one guy had a pair of Bilstein shocks (less than 3,000 miles on) that he sent me for free even paid for the postage. That was a dam nice thing he did too. It helped me to start on my truck.

This site has also introduced me to tons of aftermarket fabricators for our vice!! I know i did not have to pay to get that! It has introduced some different angles at stuff i have been planning!

first post... guys gonna come back and see a 3 page debate on "the internet should be free vs reality" :haha:

afaik, the only ones non-members can't see are the attached images... pretty sure all mine are viewable linked through photobucket...

Yeah, I always link to my images from my website. I figure since I'm already paying for my web space I might as well use it.

Definitely a valid question. If you decide to really get into the forums you can join then. If not, that's cool too. It's like 'try before you buy'.

A simple pursuing on the boards will glean more than a few posts with folks proclaiming how much this board, and the members that make it great, have saved them in both time and money.

Yep. Nothing like having a problem and being almost 100% sure that SOMEONE on this forum knows exactly how to fix it and about 200% sure one of the packrats on here has 3 of the parts necessary to do it.

I occasionally visit another forum semi-related to Big Ugly and am often quite disappointed with the quality of the "knowledge" and "help" they give out over there.

Not that I'm any better. I've got a few boxes of random stuff from both trucks I just can't get rid of. Just sold two sets of rims I was probably never going to use but kept holding on to.
