I’m running leafs now they work great . All I hear is go coil overs why can’t find a reason to do it on the web.
I wanna buy the conversion from ord but I’ll only be able to do the front or the rear first / one at a time .
Give me some insight on why I should or how this will or won’t benefit me . Truck is a trail truck only won’t be driven on the road maybe only for short times I want to get this kit but I’m still trying to justify it for me .

Also which would be better to do first front or rear ...

Lol I like the style points for sure ..

No one has ever been upset they converted to coilovers, yes it cost more money but that's the only negative.

The rear will be easier to convert less moving parts.

I was just having this conversation with my brother yesterday. I already had 14” bilsteins and ord 52’s before I linked it. It rode great and flexed like a mofo. My only problem was going through bushings alot. Untill I put the 60 and 40’s on it. Then the springs couldn’t control all the unsprung weight. So that’s why I linked mine. It is amazing how much better it drives, especially on the street. The steering response is awesome.

Unless you are doing high speed, you may not receive the benefit from coils. And if you are the only one with coils, you’ll be going the same speed as the others
If you’re doing mostly crawl, good leafs and gear shocks will work fine
Most of the people I crawl with are linked so I’m usually getting left behind . Which isn’t really that big a deal but would be nice to keep pace .

I rarely wish I was linked. I also LOVE putting the leaf sprung fat pig of a blazer where the buggies go. I haven't reached the point yet where I think it's going to get me any further down the trail.
That being said, everything is just better.
If you've got the money, do it.

I can’t keep up with @bmxbryant9 on the lighter stuff either. Even with links you probably won’t keep up with your buggy friends that like the skinny pedal.

No doubt a properly setup rig with links will perform better but a rig with leafs will get the job done too. Don’t forget about sway bars, you’ll need those with links.

That is really the question then. If you and your boys like to run the trail instead of crawl, then ya gotta pony up for at least good shock and springs

My rig is completely capable I feel maybe I should just let it be ...

no doubt lol

Sometimes keeping it simple and operational is best. But if you need links, you need them :D
That’s what I’m still confused about is it something I need or want can I run the rubicon yes can I make it through FORDYCE iono haven’t had a real chance yet those are my goals right now .along with it being a dependable rig but thats a obvious goal .
