I am thinking about running 35x14.50x15 ss boggers on my blazer, i would like it if they make a 35x12.50x15 but they dont and think a 10.50 will be a bit narrow for the sometimes bottomless sloughs we run in......or if a different size might me a better plan!! Lets hear it!!!

They make a 35x16 R15 Bogger. I wheel with a guy that has them under his s10 blazer pushed by a juiced up 350... the damn thing HAULS ass in the mud, My vote is wide. we see a lot of bottomless skeg fields where we wheel.

In your case get the wider ones, with them being smaller

I usually like skinny tires though

hey

what do you guys think about a skinny tire making you less stable?. Do you think a rig with a 10.50 wide tire is less stable than a 14.50 or 16.00 wide tire?.

I'm just saying a wide tired rig LOOKS more stable, but is it?. I know a wider offset rim will make your stance wider thus increasing stability, but what about just the tire?

I know skinny is the way to go if there's a bottom so you can saw your way through, but staying on top of the bottomless goo takes alot of wheel speed from power or gears......im pretty stuck on the boggers but the tsl come in a 36x12.50.....i think the 37x13 will be a bit much on the axles plus the extra lift i would need, already gonna need a stupid body lift for the 35x14.50s and a sawzall....this is strictly a mud runner since thats all we have up here in ND!! and alot of snow in winter

Remember, the wider the tire, the more leverage put on the bearings...just a thought especially if running 1/2 ton'ers

Im not too worried about stability unless its donut time since we have no trails here but i think they are pretty close in that respect...i know which ones the ball joints dont like lol

Im on 10 bolts right now, i have a d44 and 14bff that are going under this summer

For mud, and if you have the power to spin them Wider=Betters :wink1:

I don't think a narrow tire would be much if any less stable than a wider one. Now maybe like a 10.50 compared to a 19.50.

These are going on my 89 K5 with 4in lift (and 3in body lift if really wide) 350 tbi, np 241, 700r4 with 3.73 (i believe) gears, 4.10s in 3/4 tons

There has to be a way to relate this to a chicks ass but I just can't corollate the two just yet. Anybody?? :D :haha::haha::haha:wide ass, skinny ass??? Which one is best and why? :rotfl:

Hey

I run 38x12.50 TSL SX's on my K5, but I'm also sittin on 14bolt FF and Dana 60 axles. I think I want to go atleast a 14.50 wide tire next tire I buy. The 12.50's just dont really give the truck the stance I like. AND up here in Alaska the mud is bottomless so flotation seems to be the hot ticket. Then Again wehn I'm driving a 5000 lb + rig do I really have any chance of floating anyway without going to something crazy like a 19.5 wide tire????.

OH BIG NEGATIVE on a Skinny assed broad!!!. I like my women with a small waist and then that sweet heart shaped thick ass.

Hey

Do I really need to say why???? NOTHING says WOMAN like a healthy thick heart shaped ass that perched on top in reverse cowgirl..........Ahhhhh I gotta pee now.

Trying to dig down in nasty bottomless mud is pointless, I firmly believe in wide tires and big power....I picwhore this picture every chance I can get:D

Thats what i was thinking, the only mud with a bottom is the mudholes on the field roads.....but is it gonna float anyways or just get me further out to the stuck point?? lol im happy with the looks and stance of my 12.50s and if they made a bogger that same size i wouldve decided already....

So K-10 Krawler, I see the Winch cable, so I'm going to take it that you do NOT HAVE WIDE TIRES AND BIG POWER???:haha:

OK!! now thats stuck HAHAHAHA so what ya running under that to push that much mud up past bumper before you stopped!!

As has been pointed out wide vs skinny is completely a situation by situation debate. I only run skinny tires but I wouldn't even dream about driving into mud like is posted above me...because I know what will happen.

I like my tall and narrow tires because I can fit them with less (or no) lift and they increase my stock capabilities without requiring me to excessively lift my truck and suffer the consequences of doing so.
However I'm aware they aren't the last word in flotation so I stay out of soft sand and deep mud.
