will a 454 even fit in my suburban??

THAT must have been a pain in the ass to get in there.
Yeah I was thinking the 2.7l 4 cylinder I hauled for my brother was a PITA to get into my Yukon, I hate to think what a full 454 drivetrain would be like
Easy as pie IF the guy loading it had a forklift. Will definately be a chore to remove it at home with a cherry picker though.
nope went right in easy as pie with the cherry picker. I was suprised myself, stuck it in up to the oil pan, dropped it down and moved the chain to the front and just pulled from the t case and it slid right in.
but my luck it's gonna be a bitch to get back out!

Just back up and slam on the brakes, it WILL come out. I can't say what kind of damage will occur but IT WILL come out.
I was just thinking bolt a chain to the front of the engine, and secure to something stout, and hit the gas....Looks like you got everything with it, and your going carb right?
oh well I am sure it's worth the wait though!
