Will it fit

Ok, I've been following this thread and I feel like I've learned a lot already, but I'm still confused about a couple of issues.../forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

1) if you nail the sod directly to the cedar siding, won't the nails get rusty? Is this a concern?
2) I'm still unclear about which type of grease and where it should be applied... are there fittings there that I'm just not seeing? or is it best to just apply the grease to the entire door?
3) where's the best place to purchase ghetto tires and wheels? oh, and what size works best for this application?

Sorry for all the questions... I'm still new to this... thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I think Cheryle has pointed out a few good questions here...

As far as i understand, you nail the sod directly to the cedar siding and then use JB weld to seal it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I don't think rust should be an issue.
It could be with the wet beaver covering for the cedar siding though.

these are not silly questions at all. instead of using the nails .i was going to jb weld the sod onto the cedar siding.i would put as much grease as i can every where you can reach.as for the ghetto rims and tires.they are already spoken for they will go to RyanB and Bubba for work done on this project. and they will then fight it out as to who gets what.

Where would i go about purchasing some of this Wet Beaver you speak of?
/forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Generally, the beaver is dry. In fact, I've discovered that finding wet or even moist beaver right off the bat is somewhat rare. Gentle manipulation with a hose will often get the beaver moist. Once it has been moistened you'll find it's much easier to work with.

...and don't even think about unhooking the swaybar.

I took mine off, no probs so far- maybe that's because of my Superstiff springs. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But it gives me great flex, and haven't noticed any awkard lean.

Just drive north for a little while, and go to the corner of International (used to be East 14th) and MLK, hook up with my man Easy T-Ice-Cube, he'll hook ya up. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

does M-1 Abrums look good on cedar siding?

[/ QUOTE ]

The problem is the weight of the M-1 on the cedar siding. What one must do is to plate the inside of the siding with a 1mm sheet of aluminum, and of course the material one uses for attaching the sheet to the siding is important.

Nope. Just go to aforementioned location after 11pm on Friday nites. If there are some homies hanging 'round this ole boy wearing a searsucker suit and yellow pimp hat and with thumping coming from a '76 neon green Caddie with 10" gold wire rims, that's the man.

Not to get off the topic or anything but hey Cheryle... have you found anything that works good to get the grease out from under your finger nails?

Anyone? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Thanks.

"the material one uses for attaching the sheet to the siding"
so a sheet of 1mm aluminum, will JP weld work for this or are you suggesting something else?
and is the grease being used for a lubricant or waterproofing?
