Will it fit

will JP weld work for this or are you suggesting something else?
and is the grease being used for a lubricant or waterproofing?

Actually I suggest two sided masking tape for attachment and the grease is lubricant while the Berber carpet is used for waterproofing.

Maybe you could just put a few coats of thick paint on it or something.

What kind of paint should I use, latex or that Chemical Resistant stuff the military uses?

Don't use military paints. I know. I am the paint shop supervisor for my squadron. Our paints suck. They say Chemical resistant but all they do is absorb it. Plus they are too hard and don't flex with the body so they will crack easily. Just my .02 worth.

Ky is very resistant to other chemicals and it lubricates at the same time /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I got a 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires and it fits with and inch to spare /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif mike.

oh yea I fit 35's with 4 inches to spare, figured I would have more room if I just left it on jack stands, the jelly is also usefull for lubin up the 6 bolts for your backing plate, however I recomend using card board for washers since they do't come with any then leave half the nut unthreaded for a "comfert" zone.
