Hey Fock tard I might have an engine and tranny of that vintage. Find out if it's got 4 or 6 cyl mounts. If it's a 51 it should still be an F-head 4.
My buddy's first car was a willys pickup...
we drove around the desert in it with no brakes. Really dosen't matter when it will only do 55 mph (if you had enough room and time), and there is nothing to hit.
He sold it before he got his license, so we never tried to get it out on the street.
I blame that truck on my obsession with vintage iron (3 scouts - 2 landcruisers).
Or maybe I blame my uncles restored jeepster want to say it was a '49? maybe thats too early for jeepsters. Could have been a '59. Also a cool little truck.
The answer to "should I buy a Willys?" is always yes.
