Yup. That looks like about 1" all right.

Explain turning down Dodge hubs on a Dana 60? Dodges are driver's drop, no?

Went for a walk down the county road with my wife yesterday. Couldn't resist this picture.

To celebrate the Forth Of July, I cut bolt heads off. There were lots of sparks.

I would not recommend removing a box you care about like this.

It is off though.

Plus don't forget to unscrew the fuel fillers........

I did this when I removed my bed. But I caught it before it caused any issues.

@bent72, I hooked a chain onto the 4 corners and lifted it off gently with a chain hoist. No apparent damage.

I sure wish I had some pictures from that build, they would have come in handy a number of times.

Did the engine hoist method abuse the bed?
This is about the only way I have to pull mine
You could borrow my hoist and then have two... but I need to put my engine back in first.

image.jpeg This works reall good for us.:D

Two 2x4s under the bed rails and palet forks on our skidsteer!

I've also used a come along and straps at 4 corners, worked good too.

Driver side fuel tank was definitely shot....

This looked strange out the back window.

Took it to my buddy's shop.

Not as much excess frame as a Suburban.

420-4.jpg

A sawzall (or seawall....) makes surprisingly short work of these frame rails.

Both sides cut off.

Groovy exhaust!
