Wonder why trails get closed???

I have also made bad decisions as have others on here some having serious potential impact on our sport and how people view us.

The point here should be

1. that its not appropriate

2. In the future to help not only set a better example but also to advocate/educate for others.

I hope this turns out for the better as a mature discussion and not a flame fest.

agreed, I'm hoping he see's the error of his ways and works towards promoting a responsable approach to trail etiquette in the future, he can't really take back what he did but he can prevent it in the future:(

The guy Fed up, and as has been said, hopefully he will see the errors of his ways. The guy does not deserve to be beat to death and drug thru the streets and set on fire is the point of the No flame thing. More then likely MOST or ALOT of guys that would do the flaming have done just the exact same damn thing a time ot two. In other words DON'T be a damn Hipocrite and go ape shat bashing the dude. Now, If he been caught, especially in pictures time and time again doing this crap then, it's been prooven he's an asshat, then flame on.

Who is he? I don't ever remember seeing pics of that truck posted here. :dunno:

Scotts a cool guy, bad a truck, too. We all make mistakes, some are blown out of proportion.

Hopefully Scott can see the error of his ways but I get fed up with it too. I try to always tread lightly. I got to tell ya though sometimes I feel like I could just throttle anyone who tells me to tread lightly. When I break my truck instead of going around and "breaking new trail" It upsets me.

Anyway always two sides to a story.

this doesn't help his cause, if it's true he deserves to be flamed:(

"we came across this guy in moab last year wheeling metal masher... the truck has a cumming turbo diesel in it and he was tearing the trail apart due to he couldn't get up an obstacle. he was leaking oil all over the trail and smoking the tires pretty bad.

He was drunk along with the people in the two other vehicles with him."

Hence the reason I said:

He's made his bed he's gonna have to lay in it. FLAME ON!! Guy sounds like a dumbass.

Has anyone actually talked to the person to get both sides of the story? How does anyone know the story is even true? It's not like everything you read in the internet is true just because someone you never met said so on another internet forum.

he has a few pics... thats like 3000 words man, but yes there are two sides to every story.

I guess if the pictures of the truck are of some off trail area (I certainly don't know), that's not very good, but accusing someone of driving around drunk on a trail isn't easy to verify.

I too, would like to hear scotts side. Never met the guy in real life but i like to hear both sides if possible.

And thatk30guy, why does your username say banned?
