Got stuck at around 6 in the afternoon got home at around 1 am. Three trucks tried to yank me out but it was a PITA to move once sitting on the frame and axles. First truck was a 95 K1500 with 35s and a 4l60E broke the trans while trying to yank me out and only had 2nd and reverse. Next up was a ext. cab tacoma with 33s and it just didnt have enough weight to move me. Last was a 4 door z71 with 33s and he had to yank about 10 times for my tires to hook on the mud and it came out like a boat with the rear end down and the front slingin mud something kinda awful. I found the transfercase was hung up and I invested in a clocking ring the next week and blew the gov bomb two weeks later. The power steering pump went out, and the torque converter followed and now its building built as money and parts come in.

Sledheadak needs to get in here and post a picture of the jimmy after it snapped a whole wheel off

Yeah, you can tell that that was sitting there when it snowed. Look at the snow on top, and no tracks behind it.

Sorry about the poor quality cell phone pictures, but they are all I have. I was driving on top of a frozen snow drift, just screwing around with a few buddies. The drift was getting narrower, and my front left tire dropped down between the drift and the dirt bank. It took me a little while to get unstuck from that, but when I did, I backed up, and was going to drive off the drift. That didn't work, I dropped my left rear into the hole between the bank and the edge of the drift. All four tires chewed into the frozen snow and it was sitting on the axles. I could leave it in gear and get out. They just turned over real slow as the truck idled. We had someone try with a pickup and a tow strap, but even with a 20' running start, it wouldn't even budge us. Made the rear of the pickup pulling on me slide over quite a bit when it snapped tight, but no movement. Had to get a MFWD John Deere. That pulled it right out.

You aren't stuck until you spend the night there...

*subscribed* Good idea for a thread.:waytogo:

Jeff thats freaking funny beat by a mini van :haha::haha::haha:

So a night is like 8 -10 hours. The pic I posted with the black blazer it took 10 hours overall to get it out. Of course we left and I bought everyone that was helping lunch. So more like 9 hours of actual pulling

think ive pretty much whored all my stuck pics:popcorn:

I was breaking trail on New Years Eve through that valley and pushing snow over the top of my 40s. Apparently, like a week later, some dumbasses thought it was a good idea to follow my tracks down the narrow ~20% grade in to the valley floor. This was after they drove past the hole I made at the staging area goofing off while everyone else was airing down.

This apparently was taken the day of.
IMG_00397.jpg

Apparently they thought it was OK to just leave it there, cuz they never contacted any 4x4 clubs that they were told to. I mean at this point, it probably would have taken me less than 30 minutes to back down the hill, hook up, and drag him up to the top. I'm sure many of us would have just turned it in to a day of wheeling and not even asked the guy for gas money.
IMG_1299.jpg

Now he's a hazard (the valley can be traveled one-way, and he's at the very end of the trail in a place where you can't turn around if you are traveling one way). I was really hoping for a good excuse to just run it over, but I can't bring myself to be that much of a dick unnecessarily. He's endangering users right now though by blocking the road and it's littering/dumping cars as far as I'm concerned at this point.

Just a few hundred yards further down the trail is a 2011 Liberty out of San Fran.

Here's another idiot from a couple weeks ago.

p2220084.jpg

Apparently the loader driver had too big of a vagina to figure out how to use his bucket to keep from sliding around, so I had to go do it with my much heavier-duty k5.
IMG_1210.jpg

But the Jeepster was too light, so we exchanged him for something a bit heavier.

Typical day of snow wheeling for me. I pop beads all the time lol.

Funny, the guys I was with here were panicking because I didn't have a spare with me (this is very close to my house). Literally takes me like 5 minutes to take care of. One of them (who claims to have been "wheeling since the 70s") walked up and said in desperation "what tire shop is going to be open today since it's Sunday?".

Wouldn't really call this "stuck", but I thought the sign made it pretty entertaining. I dug it in the snow so that I could winch everyone up a hill with the truck in park without having to worry about stressing the pawl too much.

Just goofing off. Click for video...check out the Pomeranians in the window lol

Hmmm, we crossed here a couple hours ago...I hate being the guy with a snorkel cuz I'm obligated to guinea pig all the rivers.
