Would anyone be interested in CARC 383 green spray-on bed liner material?

Great that is just what I am looking for. Any idea how much it would take to the entire inside of a Blazer tub?

For the entire interior from toepans to tailgate I'd say about 2-3 gallons. :D

I'm working with the local shop to get a few different military colors. I'm gonna see if anyone on the steel soldiers boards can send me any fresh panels so I can do a color match to make sure I got it right. Gotta do it tonight, can't access the site at work. :(

Think you could match this color? Or at least get something real close?

This is the paint I used:

I would like to paint my sheetmetal with your bedliner

There's several members in NC over there. How far are you from Bern?

muddermilitia, any chance you could send me a sample of that paint? I can have it color matched and get the exact color you need in bedliner.

AJMBLAZER, I'm about 2 hours from New Bern.

I'll see what I can do, should I just spray some on a piece of paper and mail it to you?

I know there's a couple guys on the CUCV forum around New Bern.

The "Conversations" forum is the one you want to post in to attract the most attention.

Mudder, if you could spray it on either a piece of metal or a piece of wood it would be perfect. Even cardboard might work ok. Paper can give weird readings with paint. I'll PM you my address.

AJM, thanks, I'll post up in a bit!

Sweet, the Steel Soliders guys really helped me out. I've got some numbers to run to the shop with this afternoon. I should have some results this weekend for you guys. Hopefully I'll have some on sale starting next week.

First batch will probably be:
383 Green
383 Brown
686 Desert Tan

Anyone have any other colors they would be interested in?

Flat black but I bet you already have that covered...

Yeah, I've got that covered already. :wink1:

Got a can or 383 OD dye and a can of 686 desert tan sitting out in the truck. I'm working with Dupont on getting a mix for the 383 brown, should have some by Friday hopefully. :D

What does it take to match the paint close to a truck. I got a maroon truck right now and would like to get pretty close. If not i'll just go Black

As for the Blazer the OD green will be perfect!! :D

I'd need a sample of the paint color, or a paint code if you have one. Just to let you know, it's not terribly cheap. I just got tint do do a guy's 2008 F-150 and it was like $90. :eek1:

It all varies on the color though. My truck was $35 for a pint (enough for 2 gallons)

So that'd be $90 plus what you mix it with plus the sprayer and such. Still doesn't sound like a bad deal to have the bedliner somewhat match the paint. Look cleaner i'd think :dunno:

Any pics of the guys truck??

It shouldn't somewhat match the paint, it should MATCH the paint! :D

I'll have pics this weekend, I'm spraying it on Saturday. I'm spraying it with Scorpion, though. It reacts the same as Al's as far as color matching goes, though.

All the honeys will want a ride in your bed then. :haha:

Initial results are positive on the colors. Don't mind the texture, I didn't want to have to bother cleaning the gun for such a small amount, so I used a roller.

The top is 383 Olive Drab
Bottom is 686 Desert Tan

Friday I'll have some 383 Brown

Here's the 383 brown. Don't mind the mess, I ran out of rollers, so I smeared it on. :haha:
