Yeah me too! lolI like this truck! My k10 had a rough side too lol. Can’t wait to see what it turns into!
Here's what I am worried about with a body lift for new mounts. This thing is suuuuuper rusty under the cab. I'm worried if it's going to be worth all the hassle of broken bolts, and loose captured nuts. This thing is eventually going to get a new cab, so the body lift/mounts may have to wait until then.
I'll get a picture under the cab. It's pretty bad.
You work at a wrecking yard right? I'd be careful where you park it!

So when you getting back to the K5? It's getting lonely...
Nope. She renamed it "Pops".So is it the bitchass truck now?
Funny you say that, my boss is bringing one in for me. I already have the intake, so it should be an easy swap.It needs a quadrajet!
Mine works perfectly on my big block. High idle sticks sometimes and sometime doesn't work other times but it starts and purrs like a kitten even when super cold.Funny you say that, my boss is bringing one in for me. I already have the intake, so it should be an easy swap.
That's what I miss about that '83 crusty truck. That q-jet ran perfect after for sitting 20 years in my boss's garage. Plus that truck got 19mpg putting to and from work at 50mph.Mine works perfectly on my big block.
