‘82 GMC “Junkyard JIMMY” {Build bash Rebuild}

Where did you get those? Bike shop? We were looking for generic cup holders last night and could only find crappy plastic things

Not a bad idea. Seems simple enough.
Thank you sir, I like simple.

Is it hinged on one side or still a pop off?

It's not hinged, it had the cliamps on both sides. However,
I trimmed the flange off the back so I can open it all the way up like a hinge.

Yes sir, I got them from a local bike shop. They are light weight unobtainium. They run about $8.00 each.

The next thing I did was to repurpose the pick foam from my pelican case.

being from CA you must have felt somewhat liberated doing this :D
Meh, I could have done this in Cali. It's perfectly legal to carry firearms in California while camping.

FYI that's a 20mm Ammo can. Got a bunch around here. Real handy. Came out nice!

Thank you sir,
When I was scuffing the yellow paint off I noticed it was labeled '30mm practice rounds'

Yea my buddy sent me that one, wait a minute that was you...

Jerkface!

I went exploring some more around my neighborhood.
I took a quick 1 minute video for your entertainment.

I went a little further down the trail.

I think I'm ready for a little shake down.

Thanks for the video recording tips link. :waytogo:

The camo pattern is forever evolving. I posted it somewhere back there, I don't want to spoil it for ya. You gotta go check it out.!

edit: this camo pattern came about around page 166 or so.

Well it finally happened. I drove the JIMMY 30 miles to school today and he's now draining coolant from the flywheel dust cover.

It's either a freeze plug or the back of the intake. Either way I will be doing engine work sooner than later.

eesh, that sucks... let's hope for intake...

it doesn't happen to be that stoopid TBI setup with the metal heater hose tube off the back of the intake? mine did that. blew a pinhole in the thing..

Gross man. Good thing is, you don't live in Commyfornia anymore, so you can't now have more engine options. The sky's the limit here. Or your bank account.

I would imagine he would just fix what he has?
