Yea, it runs good. I like it.

I already want to keep it but I have to clean it up and sell it.

I saw one of these at the Junkyard with a Dana 44 front.

Maybe I can do the hillbilly swap on it before we sell it.

No, here's the Kicker.

WITH THE 60!

My partner won't let me swap out the 60 with the 44 he thinks it will depreciate the value too much.
He's concerned about gear rations and stuff. :doah:

I say it will sell for the same weather it has a 60 or a 44 in it. :D

Im surprised its lasted this long.
That 60 would be under my rig if it were me. :waytogo:

Look at it this way...the next buyer will actually get a 3/4ton :haha:

Does it have a 440 and an NP203? Around here it would go for about $1,500 to $2,500 if it's running good. I think you should ask more though, especially if it is as rust free as it looks.

Why don't you post on a Dodge truck forum in the classifieds? Who knows? Maybe it's some rare, desirable model.

It's not completely rust free. The roof is rusted thru above the windshield.

It does have a 440 and 203. Dana 60 front and rear, 4.10 gear rations

Yea I said rations on purpose.:D

I want the front 60 but it's not in the cards for me right now. I have been out of work for too long and don't have the cash.

I did try a Dodge forum, and a popular 4x4 forum for information. I've been doing my research.

I need to decide if I'm going to part it out or sell the whole truck.

I'm not sure what years, but I think I remember that certain years of Dodge Dana 60s are to be avoided because of non-interchangability of bearings, hubs, seals and stuff. I also seem to remember that if you want to put a Dodge D60 under a GM, you have to either use shims or cut and reweld the Cs because the castor wasn't the same. Maybe I'm remembering wrong. <Ahhhhhhhh>

Since it has an NP203, doesn't it have the smaller diameter hubs? Or was that just on the 5 lug half tons? I know that they were 5 on 4.5" instead of the normal 5 on 5.5" or whatever.

JIMMY is looking sad. There's a nice size puddle of tranny fluid under him right now.

I need a drive shaft new yoke.

The Front axles all busted up.:doah:

Leaking oil out of my engine mounts.:D

I've got some work to do.

My truck is always in similar shape. Sometimes I ask myself why I keep messing with the ol' pile when I know it's a hopeless cause. Of course my wife probably wonders the same thing about me from time to time... :haha:

My new hobby of selling sh!t for profit is taking up all my spare time. I need a good day at the JY. That's theropeutic for me.

Motivation for me is always the next whelin trip.
