17 Ram 3500 DD minor upgrades

I have to put a step of some kind on this truck. Sliding out is going to destroy the seat.

Looking for retractable steps.:yikes: $1600 all day long. I used to have some on my 05 chevy made by kodiak. Worked great. No longer made.

Yeah, I've thought about using those steps too until I saw what they cost. I'm sure they are great, that's just a big pill to swallow.

Can you not just find some random RV sitting in the junkyard and grab one of those retracting steps?

That guy you know is moving rock today.
Has a Jimmy to build front link and shock mounts for.
A boat to finish.
A 48 suburban to build.
I was hoping that I would not have to reinvent the wheel. But my wallet days I should.

Looks like you've got quite a bit of payload and tow capacity on that thing. Been looking at tow vehicle replacement for a while. Thanks for sharing that.

Building a bumper and hitch. I must over build/think everything. I am under this thing with the bumper pulled and spare tire out. Cut out the mickey mouse'd wiring for the old bumper. If these guys do beds for a living, somebody is getting screwed.

Awe man.

turns out, our internet died 1/2 way through saving the video. It showed on my phone on 4G, but never finished publishing.

Try it again.
Yeah that’s some quality work there.....
Some people should stick to delivering pizzas.

I got lucky when I removed the cobbled together trailer input on the hitch. The one and only smart thing the PO did was run the wires to the fuse block in the engine bay. No splicing or cutting anything.
