Cast stainless with polished exposed area. Marine flip top that's vented. Going to be mounted off to the side in the bed. Just got it in the mail today. Sucker is heavy, love that. Sexy goodness

Old Air Products compressor mount and belt tensioner bracket. I PCed it semi gloss black, like everything else under the hood. All the stuff fit SUPER nice, nothing weird.
Also, I FINALLY got this oversized piece of aluminum (aka: radiator) out of my house. Been sitting in my living room forever, since it's not "safe" in the garage. I had cut, bend, and weld back together my nicely PCed radiator upper mounts. Damn radiator is ~1" too tall. Modified mounts will get PCed with a new batch of stuff. Pulled my MC off and wire wheeled all the rust growing on it.
Kinda of a teaser pic with the intake laying in there. It looks like I can mount it to the AC compressor without much work.
Found some radiator hoses that fit. The belt OldAir sent was too short and their recommended fix (smaller idler pulley) wasn't good enough. Finding a belt to fit was tough. I ended up landing on a larger belt and larger tensioner pulley. The picture has the small pulley on the tensioner, I basically put that idler pulley on. Works great. That was a PITA but you can't let it win

So I ended up powder coating those upper radiator mounts, again, and did the intake tube in black as well. Couldn't stand looking at the shiny.
Also acquired two sets of buddy buckets.

Found this picture of a 67/68. I've got different paint but since it's also dark, it's very close to what I want in a front end. I don't see CHEVROLET letters often and I've been considering painting the headlight bezels to match. My front will look just like this except with a chrome bumper. I don't think I want a painted front bumper since it will be a daily driver. Really though, I love the C10 F/R chrome bumpers.

Made up some plates a while ago and had them powder coated to match everything else under the hood. Luckily, my OldAir Products AC plates came PCed the same semi-gloss black. Got them installed today.
This plate is for the throttle. It supports the DBW to the firewall and covers up all the old holes nearby. Both plates are mounted with Stainless Steel Black Oxide bolts and SS nuts on the back side. Thanks to the Brotherhood for finding them for me. Now they wont rust

Next is the fuse panel support plate. It also covers up about a dozen old holes while holding the fuse panel tight. Both plates also have weather stripping on the outside plate. Worked out great.
