1968 c30 "Papa Smurf" prerunner build. links, beams, and turbo

Got the truck on my trailer today. First time the truck has moved off jack stands in months. Gonna be dropping the truck off at Griffen Fabworks Friday morning to get the beam work started. I backed the trailer back in the shop for now as i still have a few things I want to wrap up, but can't wait to see this thing with beams on it!

The castors were my favorite part of the weekend.

Castors N Captain :D

The intake has already been off and the intake runners have been tapped off. The intake is just sitting on there.

Looking awesome. Like how the frame rails are smooth. What are you going to do with your spare time when the truck is gone? lol

Work on cleaning and organizing the shop. Work on putting Orah back togethor.

Did the truck have a bed when you bought it?

Martin

No bed when i bought it. Only a frame, cab and front clip. And the frame it was on was a 73 frame as well so not evem the correct frame for the cab.

You probably checked thia thinking youd see pics of beams on the truck.......well nope not yet. Hopefully soon that post is coming. Until then just a tire update.

Just managed to score 2 matching 37" bfg km2s to the 2 i already had so now it can be a full roller on a matching set of tires.

Did score 1 brand new bfg baja ta. Now only need @Babaganoosh to find me 5 more and I'll have a full set of the tires i want to run. If any of my out west friend's ever seea deal on these let me know id be interested in getting them if tour willing to deal with shipping them for me. Really hard to find them here in MI but am constantly hearing how people just throw them away in cali and az. They are 37"x12.5"x17" BFG Baja T/a's dot approved(not the 16.5 military tires)
