1968 c30 "Papa Smurf" prerunner build. links, beams, and turbo

Has plenty of motor. Momentum is key with a beamed truck so holding speed is no issue. It just depends on how fast you want to get to speed. And I want faster. This things gonna be really fun with boost.

Awesome that is nice to hear, now if I could just get mine Running in time for dune season here! Us ca guys gotta keep y'all entertained during the winter because y'all keep us happy during the summer!
Can't wait to see how this shock tuning develops.. should be rad!

I don't know, I could either way on the bedsides. I think both ways is a cool look. The hood, yes.

I'm thinking I like it better without bedsides but I'll like it either way!

I was gonna take this weekend off from the dunes, but an event called "Hero's On the Dunes" is taking place Saturday. The event brings Veterans and their family's to the dunes and then has vehicles give veterans rides in the dunes. So Papa Smurf will be giving some deserving rides this weekend.

Yes sir. Hour paid lunches at work get boring, and I have full access to our material inventory. I got much cooler stuff in the works :rotfl:

Yes there is an o-ring groove behind the lip to hopefully seal off the hub.

With 3 trips on it now I want to take my hubs apart and see if anything is getting past. Hopefully not because I made them a light slip fit and then has the o-ring.

Did you block the backside? I've heard of dirt or water finding its way in through there too.

Not yet. Other reason I need to tear them apart haha. Once I tear them apart I'll bring spindles into work and make plugs for the back side to press in
