1968 c30 "Papa Smurf" prerunner build. links, beams, and turbo

have you rechecked the FI tune? wonder what the plugs look like?

Getting the truck tuned up for another weekend in the sand. Making a few upgrades on the truck. Tore my hubs apart to inspect and had some sand in the bearings so turned up some 4142 slugs and had @Deuling burn them in. 1 for strengthening my d44 snouts and 2 to keep sand from finding its way into my hub again. Also whipped up some new aluminum dust caps(first ones were steel) and got some tabs from @Deuling to get a skid plate mounted.

Badass . Why do you tow it from camp? registration?
Correct. Truck is not Street legal currently. That's on this winters list to get it back road legal and insure and register it for next summer. They have a parking lot and I usually trailer it in, but they use a voucher system and only give out a certain number for the space they have. With it being a holiday weekend it's not worth dealing with. Just easier to use a solid tow bar and hitch a ride with @Deuling

Looks good, you guys play with shocks anymore?
I swapped my upper coils stiffening my front 100lbs and making my rear 100lbs lighter just to try it and see what happened and it did allow the front to handle the big stuff even better it was a little stiff for my liking. So gonna swap those back and think I'll try a 50lb heavier bottom spring per @Deuling suggestion as I really just want to stiffen up the last bit of stroke on it.

That's a solid plan. The other thing you could try as a bandaid is more nitrogen pressure if you are not aboive 250 psi yet.
Either way sounds like your honing in on the setup. Bad ass!
