1968 c30 "Papa Smurf" prerunner build. links, beams, and turbo

That thing is working better than ever Nate, and you're still fine tuning it. Awesome work on tuning the suspension so well, it works amazing.
Glad we were able to run into each other in the dunes the other day. It definitely is working well! I can’t wait for the off season to make some more changes to make it even better!

On a busy weekend that truck has to be like a shark in a goldfish pond. Are you checking up constantly because of all the traffic?

Keep at it, the progress of how the truck works is amazing.

If I go when it’s busy it’s usually to just see friends that are up for the weekend because it Definitely gets too busy to drive the truck how I like to.

Papa Smurf definitely works well in silver lake dunes. I have quite a bit more seat time and tuning time in the dunes then most people get there whole lifetime coming up here

Even though the truck does work well I still have several more things I plan to do that I know will make it better. Just comes down to needing the money to get the things I need to make the changes.

I think at the moment the truck is working at 60% of what it is going to be capable of. The plan is to make some changes to the truck this winter.

Our Co driver used to sing that going over 4 foot whoops at 105mph :haha:

Nate your living the dream, hope your coming out this way again. Rage?
Not this year. Moving to the new house we are looking to finish renovations this winter.

Also before I head west again I’d like to have bypasses for the front. And the turbo setup on the truck. If the house doesn’t cost too much hoping to overhaul the truck this winter and get it to the next level.

Maybe by then I might be able to semi catch up

Fun little jump from Saturday. You can see in a few of the pictures, I was landing nose heavy because the transition was really bad. I got out and move some sand with my feet for about 5 minutes and made the transition to where I could get the truck landing on all 4 which you can see in a few of the pics as well.

pretty crazy how in tune I am with this machine :saweet:
