1969 C10

Slow process of putting it back together.
I’m just here for the deleted comments. The bolt length for the engine mount needs to be long enough to go through, plus width of the lock washer, nut, an about 2-3 threads

Bro...
There are more I’d like to as you call, delete. I call unclutter. Hahahahaha

Black or green carpet? I think mine is the light green. I’d hate to add another green to the truck. Black will match all the greens. But. I don’t know

Yes. I’d use stainless screws if you have them, or machine screws and a bit on back. Stainless

steel screws look really bad once the rust runs down your chrome

Scored a 69’ hood today. And yes, it will fit in a minivan with one middle row seat removed.

An added benefit of being in Arizona is that there is a huge Chevy scene here. Parts are pretty much readily available.

Minivans are underrated. I’ve hauled 37s before. Like the 37s that they use at KoH in the EMC class @ktmoutfront

Put the doors together and unfortunately that OG metal green panel doesn’t match. And the aftermarket is all plastic BS and still not made in that green. I’m looking into having them powder coated.

The steering wheel green color is not made in the after market so all the “greens” will made to match the moss/olive green. So it goes.

Bumper and bracket installed
Kill mat inside
Diff painted and fluid changed
Dash pad installed.
Side mirrors installed.
Tail light gaskets in, but will need to order new lenses.

New gas lines will be here next week once they arrive, will install them and the gas tank, then carpet and bench seat.

Few weeks away until transmission gets here.

Nice progress!
I don't remember the green interior panels ever matching. Those look just like I remember seeing them in the past, but I may be mistaken. It was always odd. What are you considering? Making them match the paint? Or the dash pad?

Yes.. I’m looking for a close enough green and getting them powered coated or a vinyl wrap. I hate the mismatched greens. The aftermarket green door panels that matches the trucks green are $259 yikes!!!
.
Door panel, Sun visor, steering column and steering wheel are different greens. Which are different greens from the interior and exterior, dash pad and arm rests. I don’t like that.

The green of the column and wheel are not produced in the aftermarket. So when I swap steering wheels the column won’t match.
Hahahah

Oh, and new front and rear shocks were installed.

I mistakenly ordered the “high hump” column shift carpet. So I’m returning that for the correct one, low hump .

Also the filler neck on the gas tank was at the wrong angle. So I installed it and removed the filler neck grommet, took a prybar into the filler neck and gently bent it to the proper angle. We’ll see how it goes once I get the proper carpet.

Gas tank and line through floor installed, upper and lower molding, including tail gate trim. Minus the trim around the lift handle. I still need to clean it.

Era correct 1969 Hubcaps (dog dish) were located and purchased.

Carpet and bench seat installed.

Transmission should be done soon from, @Greg Ducato 6A5F31CB-AC62-47ED-AF34-9AE521ADCF6C.jpeg
