1969 C10

Slow process of putting it back together.
$3k total for all the exterior green.. he's a local guy he has no employees it's just him, who does it at his house. He has a bigger house with some land not a guy in his garage next to a taco stand.

Might not be the cheapest but his work and recommendations from other people I know, I couldn't pass it up when he had an opening due to parts being delayed for another project.
Sounds fair to me!

looks bitchin, I love those colors.

however my OCD is telling me to fix the hood alignment at the cowl.

Yeah I know, believe me I see it. I've tried and the painter even tried... we both gave up... it will give me something to do for the summer.

I think that price is fair. Truck looks fantastic.
Be sure to enjoy it some before you go all ocd on the hood alignment.
Big car show in Havasu in October, think about it.

The eddies are nice and they have a really smooth movement to them. I bought a pair from autometaldirect.com for a squarebody.

.. ordered some $8 speaker covers from amazon to cover the holes that were cut. I used some double sided tape to hold them. Kinda cheesy but it's better than those atrocious holes that were cut...

Also, put on the driver side front fender trim, with double stick tape (no picture yet). I need to pick up another "custom/10" emblem before putting them on though.

Would it look ridiculous to get the hub caps painted green, just the white part? I've seen a lot of pictures with the wheels painted to match. But I don't want to hassle with that, maybe the hubcaps would looks cool green with a yellow bow tie

Put some miles on today. Stomped on my blazer for about 40min trying burn that old fuel. Then, came home fired this one up. It's drives like a Cadillac compared to my Blazer. Hahahah.

When I ran out of fuel in the blazer, the gauge read a 1/4 tank. I'm at 1/2 now so, I figure I'm somewhere between empty and 1/2. Hahahahahaha.
