Slow process of putting it back together.
Those look like a great alternative. Do they feel real secure?

Your ride, your jam. But man I think that would look much less like a old man's ride without whitewall tires.
White rims and caps. Just way to much white going on with the Whitewall tire.
My .02.
Yeah, I don't disagree with you entirely. I have the chrome caps for it as well. I just use these as drivers as they're a lot less expensive if stolen or fall off for whatever reason.

I contemplated having the white part of caps done the same green as well but opted for this route. Members here didn't think having them green would look all that great. I tended to agree then but now, not so much. Hahahaha

Thankfully, it's something that can be remedied/changed down the road. I don't think having the whitewall changed would make much difference, still mucho blanco going on.

I'll add, my "goal" was to have a grandpa truck. Hahaha so, thanks. I didn't want 20's or gaudy chrome wheels. I wanted a lowrider grandpa truck

60 year grandpa with a lowered hot rod c10 is cool.
90 year grandpa with White walls isn't cool.

Bro, cut me some slack, I'm trying and not rich. Hahahaha.

But down the road I may switch it up as we do with these trucks, and them never being done.

Rallies would be a good look. Still plenty grandpa with them old steel wheels.
I sold them as it came with them bigger in the back and thinner up front. I did not like that look. I wanted steel wheels, same size all over. Hahahahaha. One day maybe...

I kinda like it but your point is valid in being a bit too White

FYI remove hub caps before you go to tire shop. They will not get them on correctly or dent them trying. Best to just do it yourself so it's done right.

Well, they aren't easy to get on. Only one was a bish to get off. But yeah getting them on, any tips, tools etc?

No foul intended man.
Just stating My opinion. Like I said it's your jam. Just giving you a perspective.
I don't blame you if the rallies you got with the truck where aftermarket.
I would suggest just regular sized 15×7 or 15 x8 ones.
You might be able to score some rallies pretty cheap from the yard.
Remember that you can get rallies off of vans and 80s trucks.
They are different pattern, but they would still probably look fine.

Slots fit these trucks well to.

that is weird the link changed but it works, for me
No man. That's the original binford hubcap smasher 6100 right there.

Just use the heal of your hand.
It only hurts for a second until you grab that cold one.

Line up one side and give it one good thud on the other side. Right on the very edge.
When I did tires for a living I'd slop a little tire soap on the hubcap on the side that I was going to bash with my hand.
Might have been a placebo, but I thought it helped.

Yeah I was gonna get there it's removes only, use a rag between curve and wheel. If you follow above instructions and are very controlled you can use the rubber mallet, just don't hit harder than you would with palm, and only the at the corner

Do the wheels have 3 or 4 raised bumps for the cap to attach over? I would try to cover as manymof those bumps as possible, the give it a firm smack with the side of your fist. Worked everytime. Hit the where there is a raised edge so they don't cave in when you hit them.

Emblems stayed one. Rear driver side hubcap flew off. Had to pull into a parking lot and run across the street to snag it. Hahahahaha Thankfully no damage to the hubcap or other cars.

Some fit amazingly tight, this one just goes right over and won't stay. It fits well enough but i can very easily yank it off with my hands. I may need to rotate the hubcaps and see which one fits the driver side rear the best.

The hubcaps are already dented from previous owners so. No worries there I guess.
