1972 OLBLUE Blazer

This may or may not be my longest, most extensive build
Rocker parts showed up.
Boxes, reinforcements, end caps, and the step up plate. Trying to decide where to order bedsides from?

Front clip is off, ready to pull the motor. Successfully removed all the bolts holding the top on, being a double wall it has captured nuts which can be a problem if they decide to spin. View attachment 445641
Who sells Dynacorn parts?

Got everything from Bowtie Truck Stop inc. they are in Minnesota. The rear cargo floor is also Dynacorn
Do they have a website?

AMD bedsides showed up today! Ended up ordering these from Jegs. They had the left side discounted and $150 coupon. Showed up nicely packaged in less than a week!

I’m pretty much ready to remove the blue body off the frame. Everything is disconnected. I plan to do this in my 2 stall garage with an engine hoist. Figured I attach 4 points and lift the body up. I will put the wheels on wheel dollies (which also showed up today) and slide it out  should work great right???

For the tub I have a cart in going to get from a buddy. We used it on a previous project of mine. Then Ill roll that tub out and start cleaning up the frame.

Any and all advice on this is welcome

Just waiting for the update on the besides, curious how the wheel arch mounts to the inner body.

Could you take some pictures of this area, when you get time

I realize you have a lot going on, but it will help me decide if I want to buy this or not

Patch panel left a lot to be desired

Nice work so far

Frame got blasted this week. What a mess it made but nice to start with a clean frame. Unfortunately the blasting did uncover on spot that needed some repair. Not terrible tho. Got some new metal welded in. IMG_5919.jpeg

Figured I’ll leave the top welds showing so as not to ever hide anything. I trust the repair 1000% but I get it’s not perfect.

Also got some 2k epoxy primer sprayed on it right away. Followed by Eastwoods 2k chassis paint. It’s a 2 part “rattle can” I’ve had awesome experiences with any thing 2k in a can. Very professional results with out mixing and using a paint gun.
