Got the seat bracket all welded and drilled up. Ready to accept the the new Corbeau seats, then removed it for cleaning and painting. Then cleaned up the inside of the cab, again.

The gray interior pic is different angle than my pic, but, using it for comparison.
I wire wheeled the entire floor, the used an air sprayer to blow all the debris out.
Then proceeded to temporarily run out of black spray paint, so I used yellow, what I had available.
I’m attempting to keep the metal painted to keep the whole rust issue at bay. Any paint will do until I get the flex seal on the entire floor. Next week…
Then I used some 3/4” angle iron I had laying around to recreate the door seal rib, down on the door sill. I drilled holes every 2 inches to weld it down.
Very happy with the results.

Look what finally showed up. The final piece of my home-built full-hydraulic steering system. Hoses and fitting coming up shortly…
First pic is the floor area all wiped down with paint thinner to clean any residue left, then blew it out with and air hose/ spray nozzle.
Second pic is the entire floor covered in blue max rubber sealant. I painted it on with a brush on all the weld areas to be sure I got them nice and heavy. Then rolled on the rest.
I made sure to literally pour it into the door sill seam, just to be sure.
I’ve still got 1/2 gallon of the stuff left. Maybe a second coat tomorrow. Maybe not…
I got underneath and did the same to the underside also.

I finally got a second to work on Chloe.
Got the extra-capacity hydraulic steering reservoir installed.
Changed out the fuel pump since she no chooch. After getting her running, found a couple of leaks, both on the return lines where they join the pump hard lines.
Finally said screw it! Ordered two -6AN male to barbed end fittings, and some oil resistant 3/8ths hose and clamps. Installed those, refilled the reservoir, and fired here up.
She steers like a damn forklift!

Entire floor is flex sealed, including 24” up the back wall.
Glad this is done. It’s been a long hard bunch of work getting to this point.
Going to get a nice carpet kit for in here. Plus some nice thick rubber floor mats to take the abuse over the carpet.

I bought some Stainless steel 1/2” x 13tpi lifting eye-bolts installed them in all the seat-belt mount points. Two behind each seat on either side. Then drilled a 1/2” hole in the floor midpoint between the sides of each seat, direct in front of each seat installed an eye-bolt in those also.
Then the job of installing the 5 point harnesses. Very time consuming, but, it looks good

I figured I better get her running good before I did much else.
I could feel a miss while I’ve had it running. So, I started in the obvious place.
I ducked underneath near the mufflers while I had it running. It was the left side that was doing all the popping.
Then I remembered that was the side that I had the #2 and #4 plug wires crossed. So I started there.
Turned out the # 2 plug was soot fouled and the porcelain had broken free of the center conductor. The # 4 was good, re-gapped it put it back in. Then, replaced the # 2 with a new, properly gapped plug.
Then, attempted to fire her up again.
A giant exhaust backfire scared me again. I noticed the check engine light was on also.
So, I checked codes and sure enough, there it was. A “low voltage” @ the cam sensor, during startup and a “high voltage” @ the cam sensor, while it was running.
Easy enough to replace, plus it was a cheap one as I was in a hurry last time I replaced it. I got a NAPA cam sensor to replace the old one, which I installed.
The old one came out in Pieces. So I
