1974 K10 Dirty Sancho

Saved from cruel and unusual punishment
Haven't done much with this truck besides remove a few dozen more self tapping screws and spray it really well with some insect spray. I hate spiders and this thing is full of black widows.

Sancho will have his day but it's not a priority right now.

he's not running anywhere with that's rats nest under the hood. I'm thinking about getting a cheap inline pump plumbed to Jerry can to see if I can get the TBI running.. The wiring is complete f*cking mess under the hood and I couldn't find a relay for the fuel pump so who knows what he did there. Also the pump he gave me with the truck (new in a box) is for a later model truck that runs 58psi so I'm not sure what the heck he was doing. I'd like to keep it TBI but if it's too hacked I have eddie manifold, Q-Jet and a set of Chevrolet script valve covers ready to go on.

Oh I'd just start by shit canning all of it and go that route.

Something redeeming about tearing PO junk out. And hearing secondaries opening

I was leaning that way for simplicity. I'll just slap in the other K5 tank under the ass of it and run some fuel line up to a mechanical pump.

That's what I would do. Tear that junk out and start fresh. Then if you want to go that way in the future then you have the hard parts and can source the correct stuff.

Especially after chasing the wire gremlin on the '84

Sancho is still sitting on the side of the house, after Moab I'll get it going. I have most of the parts just no time to deal with it.
