Are you going to post up pictures of how you take the bedsides off? I'm curious how it's done.

If you have not taken the bed apart yet you might want to see my bed floor and fenders, the fenders are powder coated black.I watched a couple hillbilly videos on youtube before I attempted the tear down. The videos showed it's just a bunch of bolts that holds it together and one small bead at the back of the bedside where it meets the bed floor. I'll post some pics when I take the GMC bed apart. The next few days are 100+ degrees so I probably won't work on the truck until Saturday when it's back in the 90's.

Never woulda thought that was there is to it.The GMC longbed has been disassembled so I can use the floor from it.
@mrk5 you can see all the bolt holes along the floor and wheel tubs that you remove for tear down. Then a couple welds at the rear corners where the bed side meets the floor need some cut off wheel action.

Pretty Clean. Planning on a grommet through the bed floor?
Where did you get the filler neck parts? Like the bracket and cap
I have a hell of a time with my tank overfilling at the gas station and splashing fuel out. That alone makes me tempted to put the K5 tank in. That and only having 15gal of usable fuel capacity.
At this point I don't know what's keeping it from running decent and I don't want to waste my time replacing the rear main seal if the engine is failing. Therefore I think my next best move is to try and get the engine running right before I worry about the rear main seal.
