My plan is to make it a " jack of all trades, master of none"
I think the point I was trying to make is. A drag truck goes on a huge diet, gets linked and tubbed, (loses any usable bed) narrowed up 9", a 800 horse bbc engine sniffing an extra 350, caged, big and little tired build.
A true pro touring build gets a fully built suspension, 6 piston disks up front, 2 or 4 piston disks out back. Engine buried in the firewall, 18-20" three piece wheels
Air splitter front and back, 550 horse LS and a t56.
A classic cruiser would get a nice new paint job and swap out the 350 for a 292 inline six. Lol
Obviously these types of list are subjective. But my point is I don't really want anything that one dimensional. Of course the pro touring is probably the most usable truck.
My plan shall go like this:
Phase 1: 496/t400. Miscellaneous cabin work and bed work.
Phase 2: front and rear suspension work, miscellaneous brake work.
Phase 3 rear end.
Phase 4 or 5: paint and body
Phase 4 or 5 trans swap.
Phase 6 interior
Phase 7 ??? Done???
Just kind of my thinking. One "phase " means winter.
The plan is to build an all around truck. Doesn't have to super fast or flashy, just makes me happy.

A street brawer.
