1976 C-10 Stepside Shortbox - Beagle's Build

Going back to this older post, what solvents have you tried so far? We've had good success with goo-gone.

My first instinct when cleaning things is always to reach for the gasoline can, but that is not always a good idea. :doah:

Rubbing alcohol does a fine job, and is usually kind to items being cleaned.
I did get it cleaned up to make it serviceable. I ended up using some brake cleaner one day.

But honestly, it doesnt much matter as the style of this wheel doesn't fit with what I have planned. So it will be leaving. Most likely this wheel will be shipped to @max 02

:popcorn:Me too, what would a little stepside want with an old rusty diesel gmt400??

Here's what she looked like when I pulled her out of the shed. Last time it was plated was 06 and I last drove it was in 08. But I have kept it for a reason...

I have noticed your responses. They've been vague enough that I'm expecting to find out that you're doing some routine thing like replacing headlight fluid or regreasing your brake pads. Maybe changing some of your muffler bearings. :dunno:

Basically, I'm expecting a letdown. And the longer you drag it out, the more convinced I am that a letdown is imminent. ;) :pimp: :haha:
