Talk me out of buying this truck. My oldest son will be driving in 2 years, so i figure why wait to get a vehicle.

It runs and drives has AC, newish crate 350/th400 transmission one rust spot on passenger front fender, possibly from battery tray. Rockers and floor pans are good,
1977 c20 8lug3/4 longbed. Has the purty 77' only trim.
One known issue it has a wobble at 40mph....
$4k if I'm lucky $5k for full asking.

I'm going tomorrow to start it, check fluids etc.
Anything else to look at or for?
Knocking, ticks, smoke?

I think it’s awesome. Way better than a damn Corolla or some jap crap.

Good price on a cool ride. It's a real Grandpa truck.
Even if your son decides not to want it'll be worth more money down the road.
Also one of my favorite color combos always wanted a Blazer set up like that.

Yeah, blue white with 77' trim... I can swing it but won't be able to do much financially initially, if it needs a anything.
Do a tune a up check that wobble and drive.

My wife is bitching up a storm but honestly, this is why we have separate accounts. Hahahahahahahajah.

It's a total grandpa cruiser.

For a c20 why does it have the small side mirrors? I guess it was an option

Hood appears to be rattle can. Check hood pin and obviously doesn't match the truck.

What is the difference between C20 and C20 camper special, if there is any.

only thing that would be cooler is if it had a 454!!

Oh yes... but then it'd be far more expensive. Sure wish it was a k20. but it seemed at a quick walk around unmolested, only thing I noticed, a ding on passenger door, ding on passenger side by behind the bumper and spot of rust on passenger front fender corner. Ding on can top behind passenger side. And missing trim piece on the passenger rear wheel well.

Looks like new tires which I hope are the cause of the wobble, maybe bad balance job.

You probably Freudian typoed it

Again with the sticks?

Not sure those classify as thin, that’s giving a lot of credit. That said, one could fit under a c20 easy to pull of the cutout plates
