1977 c20 (I should buy it)

Beds looks to be painted with a roller check the sides... also you can dips where the cross members are under the bed. I will check the SPID for the proper color.

I was browsing offer up and Craigslist and damn near every long bed in varying conditions and years is roughly $3-5k

I like the white short bed, of the 2.
Ask them if they still have the missing a/c parts.
Nice candidate for the hooker cast iron manifolds.

He has all the parts
I did notice the electric choke missing... or I didn't see it

I dig that white one. The body is very clean, rockers and door jambs were good.
Get stock wheels and tires, tailgate, bumpers. Or hell, continue their initial goal of a pre runner....

My sons is just shuffling his feet, he doesn't know what he wants. I may just get this, hang on to it. Or just sell it in a year or so...

The fuel hose to carb looks sketchy but. Didn't see any tranny cooler lines either. Maybe a remote cooler. The guy was even less mechanically inclined than me.

Short bed can't really get hurt on that. Cut a deal on lower price even better

Yeah... I like the truck. My wife says why buy another truck with no AC, and she has a valid point for once. Haha

Since my son is dragging his feet. Which means he's just humoring me. I keep that $$$ and put AC in the Blazer and '69 c10

Talk me out of buying this truck. My oldest son will be driving in 2 years, so i figure why wait to get a vehicle.

It runs and drives has AC, newish crate 350/th400 transmission one rust spot on passenger front fender, possibly from battery tray. Rockers and floor pans are good,
1977 c20 8lug3/4 longbed. Has the purty 77' only trim.
One known issue it has a wobble at 40mph....
$4k if I'm lucky $5k for full asking.

I'm going tomorrow to start it, check fluids etc.
Anything else to look at or for?
Knocking, ticks, smoke?

Reminds me of Dads first truck, a 77 c10 Custom Deluxe. Same color scheme. Sweet memories....
