Looks good. Sometimes I wish I had the patience to paint things.

Haven't been updating this nearly as much as I should. Dana 60 is in, and I'm working on getting the 37s on. The beadlocks have been re-centered, I'm just waiting on the pvc inserts from trailworthy fab and I still need to order rock rings. At this rate I may be wheeling this year.

yeah I was thinking that my self, if they actually are sharp I'll knock the point of with a file or maybe a flap disc

I have got a little more work done with the wheels, I can't wait to get these things on the truck. I'm sick of rolling around on 1 ton axles with a 4" lift and tiny little 30" tires :haha: I'm trying airsoft pellets to balance, I used 12oz per tire. I'll have to drive them around to see if I'll need more or less.

Re-centered by a shop here in town

Thanks I got two more to put together. How much trimming do you think ill need just to drive on the streets for now ?

None to drive on the streets. You can look through my pics to see how much I trimmed the front for wheeling. I do have 1" more lift than you since I did the zero rates and moved my axles out.

That makes two of us, I was hoping to get the rest of them put together tonight but I must have left my motivation at work

Alrighty, it's been a while since I've updated this. I've been too busy bothering Ryoken for wiring questions:waytogo: I'm officially on my first vacation of any substantial length, I took 9 days off just to work on the truck for the most part:doah::confused: I am prepping it for the new DIY4x dash that I've had sitting here for a while. As of now I removed the entire factory dash and have re-insulated the entire firewall with Dynamat Extreme and then also added a layer of Dynaliner over the majority of the firewall. The Dynaliner is 1/2" thich foam rubber and very difficult to work with so it looks a little ghetto, but it's already noticeably quieter and cooler:waytogo::D I need to run to Home Depot once I get my brake and gas pedal back in to buy some aluminum tape so I can finish taping up the seams.

It is amazing what Dynomat will do to an old truck. I did my doors, floors, and parts of my dash. I didnt completely cover it like you did (I spent 1000$ on it and couldnt justify anymore) but even how I did it it is quieter than a new truck just about now with all the new seals in it. Stuff works great.

For people who arnt looking to spend that kind of coin though, Lowes and Home Depot sell stick down asphalt based stuff called Ice and Water Shield for roofs, specifically the valleys in between hips and such, and it works the exact same. A few heat cycles and the asphalty smell is gone and the effect remains. But beware, if it sticks together on the sticky side, it is worthless after that.

Yeah it is definitely pricey, just the firewall cost me 200, i do plan on doing the entire truck but I'm in no rush to do it.
