1977 K5 "Sparty On"

Got the bracket applied to the piece of 14 gauge, holes punched & just need to clean up the holes for the switch area. Then punch out the next set of holes that actually hold the switch to the bracket.....

Started getting all the parts out this morning, gotta get the plate put together to see if it's gonna clear the throttle bracket & fuel rail.....

Got the last fitting for the rear brakes today, the flexable steel line is a -3 fitting so I needed to get from that to regular brake line.....

Got the "All hell breaks loose" button mounted on the steering wheel this morning on the steering wheel. Didn't come out to bad. I was kinda skeptical because the threads wasn't much threads on the button and I didn't wanna have to cut the wheel cover to much. But ended up having to cut the face of it due to the thickness. Wasn't to worried about the backside to much though. Now I need to get a stretch cord for the connection...

Got the brakes all done this morning, now just need to fill the system up & bleed the brakes. Also got the orbital valve mount bolt in for the final time. And finally today got the nitrous plate all out together & the fuel line pulled off the carb to start to tear that apart.

Thought maybe I could flip the nitrous line to the other side & not have to run all the lines on one side....once again I was wrong. The purge & nitrous solenoid hit the throttle bracket. Also need to shorten up the fuel solenoid line to clear the fuel to the carb rail.

So went back & forth for a couple days on where I really wanted to mount the fuel solenoid. Ended up putting it so it would run along the same rail as the carb fuel line. It'll be a lot easier that way, also had to get longer lines for both of them. I needed to reroute the nitrous solenoid as well due to it hitting one of the valve cover bolts.

Also got the toggle switches mounted for the roll cage. First one is on/off for solenoids, on/off for fuel pump, on/off for purge, & purge button. Still needs some paint & maybe a sticker!
