1977 K5 "Sparty On"

Big brown truck came today....dropped off some stuff!!! More fuel line & a couple line locks. Still waiting for one more part though....coming from dealer direct.

I would be interested to see how much current those draw when engaged. Line lock/ parking brake would be nice while winching.

Got the tranny gauge mounted today.....had it mounted the way it's suppose to. But couldn't read it very well due to the big ass bezel......so I flipped it upside down. Clear as day now!!!! [thumbs]

Also put the the PS cooler back in & got it all plumbed together....

FINALLY.....after sending one shifter knob back because it wasn't threaded I get the replacement one from summit. Still not threaded either, so I call winters direct because they don't offer any instructions w/ there product. Ya it's a press fit I to the knob....i.e. beat it in there. Total install took 2hrs, I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you buy the complete shifter. But hear it is, better work!!!

Got the new tranny temp sending unit mounted.

Tried figuring out what I wanna do about the fitting nightmare they new master cylinders created. They do not have regular fittings on them. Now they all come w/ 1/2-20 & 9/16-18 fittings, so they need to be adapter down to 3/16 & 1/4 brake line. So what I'm thinking is just getting the adapter off the master & running regular line from there out...

Was able to find some 1/4 to 1/8npt adapters for my line lock, just need to get 3/16 to 1/8npt for the other one....

Made some headway on the steering wheel quick disconnect, found a rod that would fit inside the caller. So I drilled & tapped it to thread onto the original stud of the column. Now just need to cut it off and weld the caller to the insert....

Was @ harbor freight yesterday & saw this little guy on sale. So I decided to purchase it to replace my 2 smaller electrical boxes setup. It has 4 pull out trays so I figured each one would be a different size....red, blue, & yellow. The last one would be switches, relays, fuses, & other odds & ends. The top is also one big open box so I'm gonna put electrical tape, wire cutters, test light, & strippers.

What are these seats out of? Do they allow easy access to the rear seat and does the center flip down to an armrest?

Not a clue they were in it when I bought it back in 06. There not the easiest to get into the back with, the sliders could be longer going forward to slide the seat. They they had a quick disconnect on the back that would let them flip forward that would be great......that's a great idea! lol
Also yes the arm rest flips down & has to cup holders in it.
