1977 K5 "Sparty On"

Wound up with/ an extra piece of DOM tubing after ordering a pierce for a buddy of mine. He's doing the same setup of ram assist & crossover as me. Think I'm gonna put a hoop behind the drivers seat to attach the harness to......

Finally was able to get the steering wheel done w/ the help of a little buddy! Loctited & pinned in 2 spots.....

Also picked up a 3500 stall torque converter today!!!

Got the fuel cell drained today, the bracket for the line locks mapped out, and measured for a pierce of steel for the shifter mount.....

Was finally able to work on the new shifter area again after both kiddo's being sick for a week. I removed the middle seat awhile ago, now I found a piece of stainless to put there to mount the shifter closer to me......

Also got my return line fitting in the mail yesterday....

Yep mud truck & it's rather difficult trying to get out of a race seat w/ a steering wheel mounted solidly.

Agreed. Im even stupid skinny and have to tilt my tiny steering wheel up to get out of my beard seats.

83ChevyK5Blazer gave me a pair of hinges to try for my tailgate but they don't fit in the tailgate. The bedside hinge measures .795 OD but the tailgate only measures .740 OD....... Do I trim the tailgate to fit or keep looking for hinges that fit???

I am not sure. I know they have to be matching, I don't remember what the differences were.

Looks good, how do you like the poly seats? I'm looking for a cheap stop gap seat ...
