1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

Wow that turned out great!

Congrats! Looking forward to see how you make out with the trim... take your time and good luck!
Way to many people paint and just chuck the trim, I glad you are one of the guys that wants to put it back on!

The trim for me is what makes the look of round eye rigs!

Agreed! Looking forward to seeing it shined up and back on! Although I'm not looking forward to doing it...

It will be! I have to take inventory of what I have and what I need. Well, I have it all but some of it is damaged and needs replaced. And all of it needs a polished!

I skipped a few pages in the build (10 posts per page is very irritating for me) Did you do the interior/jambs/dash as well, or leave the stock color?

I did the jambs but not the interior. I plan on doing new carpet and "restoring" the interior soon anyway so I figured I would paint the dash and whatever else is exposed when I do that. The red is really close to the stock color. I mean, I asked for the stock color... But they didn't have a formula for it so they had to color map it to the nearest formula. Looking at the original paint under the masking tape it's definitely a little off. But close enough to tell people it's the original color.

Ok that's what I figured. The jambs looked nice and shiny. Kind of debating colors on my crew right now as well. The truck was originally white so I either have to paint everything, or choose a two tone where white is the top and bottom color.

It shows multiple combos and doesn't list white as only being a secondary color. I just haven't seen any trucks that were white on top and bottom with a secondary color in the middle.

Thanks! Got the rear doors on.

Fantastic! Were you nervous about dinging the new paint job as you installed them? I would have been terrified. lol.
