1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

There was some sort of glitch that was going on a couple of days ago that resulted in a lot of double posts in Greg's thread, don't know if that is similar to what happened to you.

Not that I should really be asking at this point... But any more thoughts on this?

Absolutely. It would actually be easier for me vs completely parting it and having to deal with multiple pieces. Plus a frame/axles/springs is much easier to deal with as a single unit.

Very cost dependent, as well as wife dependent... If it's too much more than just a 60 would cost I will probably have to wait. But I would love to have a rolling chassis that I could clean, paint, box, etc and then just swap the body over when I'm ready. I'm just worried that I'm not going to be able to afford the rolling chassis! I'm sure whatever MT's asking price is will be fair, but I don't know if fair is within reach for me! Especially not with the wife keeping tabs on the bank account... I have to start on our kitchen remodel soon plus the holidays are upon us so she's not going to be overly willing to allow an unneeded outflow of cash. Not to mention I JUST got done spending a bunch of dough on the paint job! Anyway, hopefully something works out.

Lol well it will be getting the 60 no matter what. It's just if it's going to happen now or in the spring time. Regardless, the install would be in spring.

As much as she likes sales and good deals, you would think she would understand. I have already initiated the subject and told her that we will afford it one way or another but she didn't seem to receptive...

I hear you man. It can be tough. Typically I remind her that I was a car guy before we got married. And she knew what she was marrying and I can continue to be a car guy after a divorce.

Most likely someday she will take me up on that....:doah:

Indeed. Any idea on when and how much?

D60/14B/springs/frame $1500? :dunno::dunno:

As for when I am sure we could work out whatever. I haven't posted anything for sale except for to you. I will be in MT hunting for 2 weeks in Nov, but otherwise I am around until March.

Indeed it is! Now to con it out of my wife! It might take me a bit to properly afford it, but I want it! I just hope I can snag it before someone else comes along!

We are currently brainstorming ideas. She had one idea that would probably work but I reallllly don't want to get the money from the people she suggested getting it from.

I agree. You figure about $1000 for the 60, $100 for the rear end so $400 for Springs and frame? Sounds about right to me! I think both of us will be getting a fair deal! I'm going to be making a couple phone calls this weekend about the dough. You are in battle ground? Or gig harbor or something? How far from Portland?
