Here it is this morning. Pretty happy with how it turned out. One of the nice things about the epoxy is it dries glossy so when you sand it it's like a built in guide coat.

Oh, and that respirator did work perfectly. Couldn't smell a thing with it on!
I may have sounded rude, didn`t mean to be. But now that its dry did it shrink much?
Can you see lots of sanding marks or does that primer go on so thick it covers them all?

No your good man! The epoxy isn't really meant to fill much. It does fill a little but not as much as a 2k. Doesn't seem to have shrank at all that I can tell.

You know it! Lol Yea I got a couple. Luckily it's just primer and will still get more primer on top of it. So I'll just sand down the runs and be good to go.

I have started putting filler on. I pretty much applied it everywhere around the truck where it needs it and now going around blocking it all. I'm fairly confident that I should have the filler and blocking done by the end of the week so hopefully another round of epoxy this weekend. Still debating if I want to bother with the 2k or not. Lots of folks that use this epoxy skip the 2k since the epoxy Sands so well. I think I'll base that decision on how it looks after this round of epoxy. If it looks kinda meh, I'll 2k it. If it looks decent, I'll stick with epoxy. With that, color and clear should only be 2-3 weeks away!
I thought epoxy was hard to sand 
it's improved much in recent yrs.. it'll never sand as well as uro tho...

I have no idea what to compare it to but it does sand pretty easily. At this point I'm hoping to get away with just sticking with the epoxy but we'll see how it goes after the next round of it when I'm done blocking my filler.

Last week was a total write off as far as getting stuff done. Had something going on every day after work, worked the weekend, and had stuff going on after work on the weekend anyway... So, my goal at this point is to finish up the filler and blocking this week, spray more primer this weekend, block the primer next week, and do paint and clear as soon after that as possible. Still thinking /hoping first or second weekend in October it will be done.

Here is a little of my filler blocking progress. My goal for today is to block the rest of what I have on there and then go back around with more filler to hit the spots that are still low.

So Wednesday I got the rest of my first round of filler blocked. Yesterday I did my second round of filler and started blocking it. I can see I might still have some minor imperfections but I think I will take care of that with glazing putty. Today after work I plan on doing a bunch more blocking. Tomorrow morning I'll likely continue blocking... My arms are already sore! I'll be working on it all day Sunday and hope to have another round of primer on it by the end of Sunday. Then I'll be blocking that next week as quick as possible in preparation for MORE PRIMER followed by MORE BLOCKING. Still shooting for paint and clear the first weekend of October but the likelihood is that it will be the second weekend. It's getting there tho!

I've applied what I believe will be the last of the filler. Going to try like hell to get another round of epoxy on it tomorrow. It will be close. Then I will spray a round of high build and block that and see how I'm doing its looking. If all looks well after blocking the high build, I'll do a coat of sealer and be ready for paint and clear.

Laughing at this post today... I have applied several more spots of filler today and it's almost a guarantee that I won't be getting to primer tonight. So I'm upping my beer intake instead. Eff it. It's my birthday! Lol

don't forget and rely on your eyes only. Your hand can sometimes feel low spots that your eyes can't see. Remember I thought I had mine all straight even using guidecoat powder and the paint shop still found three low spots. I couldn't see them but I could feel them. The sanded primer is dull so it's kind of hard to see unless you wet it and shine it up.
