1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

Indeed it is! Now to con it out of my wife! It might take me a bit to properly afford it, but I want it! I just hope I can snag it before someone else comes along!
I agree. You figure about $1000 for the 60, $100 for the rear end so $400 for Springs and frame? Sounds about right to me! I think both of us will be getting a fair deal! I'm going to be making a couple phone calls this weekend about the dough. You are in battle ground? Or gig harbor or something? How far from Portland?

Yeah $1000 for the 60, and however you split up the other $500 between frame and the 14B haha. I am about 5 hours from Portland.

I think I'm going to have to bail. I just can't get over how irresponsible it would be for me to spend the money right now. I was planning on getting a 60 in the spring time anyway so I think I'll just have to stick with that plan. I appreciate the offer! A lot! But I just don't think it's the right move for me right now.

Is there some sort of time limit? He said he had hunting to do. Is the truck even torn down yet? Did you ask him if he would wait?
That's kind of what I was thinking. Maybe it would be spring before he even started taking it apart?

I just don't feel right asking. If it is still available come spring, I will buy it. No doubt. But to ask him to basically not give himself $1500 asap just doesn't seem right.

I am not in any big hurry. The truck is still 100% complete. I need to strip the interior, pull the body panels I'm keeping, and scrap the rest of the body.

Fingers crossed! If you have a buyer before I can safely swing it, by all means, do it. And just to be clear from my end, if I find someone selling a $500 60, I'll buy it. Sounds good?

In other news, I started sanding and buffing tonight. Only git this small section of the hood done as I sneaked out between chores and dinner. So far so good tho! So nice to be rid of all the dust nibs!
