1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

There is another thread on here, one has been installed. I suck at searching.

I did an instal on a neighbors mild 5.7 that his son had butchered with a carb. Works real nice. No issues.

Can't get parts from a friend when you are out wheeling though.

So, if I understand this correctly, the trucks are piling up much faster than you can fix them. I might be alone here, but I'm gonna point out that piling up projects can be its own sort of stress. Postponing the EFI stuff to add another truck to the driveway sounds like a trade off to me...

Well, if this schmuck with the yellow K30 keeps doing the shit he's doing, I may drive out to Oregon to make you an offer on that blue K30.

Well originally the blue truck was supposed to be for parts/parting out. The trouble is it that is pretty nice. I have had this many truck before and I know exactly what it means to be project poor. But I can't turn down a genuinely good deal. The idea is just to have the crew cab and the suburban. But a $250 k10 can't be passed up. And neither can a Dana 60 with an entire truck attached for $1000. Those kind of deals really don't need immediate attention. They can wait until the time is right.

I can take that dually off your hands and fix your problems

Yea I think my big thing is that this is all a hobby. I don't need any of them to be done tomorrow. It's something I do as I can. For fun.

I will say that my plans change daily. No doubt if the blue truck was a SRW, it wouldn't go anywhere! Ever! But with it being a dually I'm hung up on exactly what to do with it. But I'm still of the notion that I want to basically force it into a good home by getting to a point where I can sell it for a price that gets it out of the realm of parting it out.

The k10 I got for so cheap that I'm kinda leaning towards making a woods/cabin/hunting truck out of it. So just a mechanical restoration and minor cosmetics and then possibly leaving it up at my cabin in eastern Oregon and just use it up there primarily.

The crew cab I'm still fairly hung up on getting a camper to stick in the back of it after I make it 4x4 and all that.

There are a lot of options. Which is nice because another fun thought I had is that I could daily drive the k10 and put the suburban into a semi retirement and get all crazy like Teck and do a near showroom resto like he did.

The options are endless!

So are you saying what I did was all crazy like.
Watch out for what you wish for. I didn't start out with that to be what it ended up as some how it just happened.

Dually the crew cab with a slide in and make the single cab a SRW

That thought has also crossed my mind! Tempting! Other than the additional paint work.

Yes! lol I know how you feel to certain degree. Some how "just make it not look like crap" turns into madness.

For $1000 that is a score and a half. I have a crashed one of those I would not let go for $1000.

I'm curious what a dually bed looks like without the dually flare.

They have a weird shapped opening. On a woods rig it really wouldn't be a big deal. But on anything you want to be "nice" it's less than ideal.
