Ah yeah that's right. They said the motor was bad. Carry on.
Threw a battery in and some gas down the carb and got it running. It does have a pretty loud knock. It started up no problem once I had fresh gas in it. Probably going to start pulling the 350/350 ASAP.

Got the power train pulled today. Power washed the engine bay as well.
It was a great day for it. Tomorrow supposed to be nice but not as sunny. Gonna put the ls in?

I was in KC this past week for work training and was searching Craigslist when found some brand new 33x12.50R15 BFG KM2s. These are getting hard to find so I snagged them.
Picked up a set of M1009 wheels from a buddy. They will get powder coated white.
Also found some mirrors and took the steps off
Started taking the old grille parts off to clean and swap with the 73-74 stuff.
and gave it a proper bath.

Yeah I have been looking for used 16s and they are getting tough to find too. All kinds of 18s and 20s though but I don't want to buy new rims since it's a dually and would add a lot of cost.
Any time I find a 15 or 16 offroad tire at work, I snag them. I have a small stock pile in my basement. 2 sets of 285's. A set of 31's. Some 35's.
Started to pull everything I could out of the interior. I’m hoping to get it all stripped and power washed this weekend.
Got the radiator support sand blasted.
Painted hub caps and got the wheels powder coated white.

Currently searching for a 32 spline NP208 and matching crossmember so I can start the engine and trans swap.
I have the cross member.
Hopefully I can find one local but good to know if not.
Had a little time today to clean up and paint the headlight bezels.

Haven’t had much time to work on this. I’ve been trying to gather parts here and there. Here’s a bunch of random photos. I hope to get moving on this and have it drivable sometime this summer.
Things snowballed into me taking the front apart lol. I wanted to buff behind the emblems and trim so off came the fenders and everything else. Power washed 3-4 times inside and out. Then put some paint on on the engine bay.
Buffed this.
