1978 K5 LS/NV4500

Little update... Got the radiator and everything in. Got the clutch bled and the front driveshaft bolted on and went for a test drive. Trans grinds bad in 3rd and 4th so it has to come back out. I took a gamble with it coming from a pick N pull. Kind of a bummer, and a waste of fluid and gaskets.

Middle red for carpet.

Looking at the spacers for t case cross member. Aren't the spacers supposed to be on the inside of the frame. I guess they'll work the same either way.

Love the build. You going put the ac back in?

I put them like that because at the time I had an ‘88 K5 that looked to be all original and that’s how it was on that. Wouldn’t really make a difference either way, but I believe I have it the same as factory did it.

Thank you, I would like to put a/c on once I get it on the road and all the other kinks worked out.
