Picked up a matching M1009 spare.
Trans rebuild parts. New bearings, synchros, updated main shaft and 5th gear.

I ordered a rear driveshaft from Tom Woods and it should be here Tomorrow.
Started on the lift. Did zero rate out back first.

Nothing currently. Not sure what I’m doing there.
With the manual trans and the 5.3 the pcm doesn't really need a vss signal.
Did you reuse the cable drive for the stock speedo off the 208?
Yeah that’s what I did.
Got the rear driveshaft and threw it on cause I needed to go out in the snow to turn it around.

How far does the yoke go into the transfer case?
Probably 4”. Thought it looked kinda far out too. 208 output sticks out past the housing though. I gave them the wanted measurements.
Nothing exciting but finally rigged up a temporary hot air intake with “ram air” until I figure out something more permanent.
What are your exhaust plans?
Probably take it somewhere and have a shop do it. Just dual into mufflers and try to get the tips out behind the rear tires while being hidden.
It’d be better with a turbo in the core support. Would at least help pull in cool air
