Got it home and put the trim back on. Paint matches pretty well all things considered.
Now I get to deal with this then replace the passenger floor area when I get the replacement panels from AMD and when this baby lets me lol. Might just try to drill and weld the cracks? Otherwise I’d have to find a donor piece.

The factory tabs with 3M double sided tape on them. LMC wants so much for basically the same thing.

I’m no body guy and it’s not a perfect match but it’s good enough for a jamb and rocker I think.

any photos of how you fixed the striker?
No I didn’t take any. I drilled out the end of the cracks so they couldn’t keep going and then just spot welded everything. Then grind it smooth. Did that 3 times I think by time I was happy with it. Hopefully it holds.
Lot prettier than the ones I have repaired.......

Got a spare tire
Pulled windshield because it was cracked and I wanted to see how it looked under it. All good. Decided to paint the roof while it was out.

Finally something that looks like progress lol
New windshield in. The chrome locks were back ordered but really doesn’t bother me. New glass makes everything look better.
How’s the driver side?
In a lot better shape than the passenger side. I’ll just be patching a few spots is all. I decided to take on the worst part first.

Went to a squarebody show/swap meet. Got a gauge bezel and a tailgate for if I decide to get a soft top for it. They were cheap.
Cut out the large floor piece. Seems to fit pretty good just setting it inside. Much to do yet before I burn it in place.

Pulled the rear cover to check what gears I have. Fluid was nasty. 3:73 gears open diff.
Patched the outer rocker.
Tacked inner rocker to rear floor. Working on making all of that fit now.
