1978 K5 LS/NV4500

What I have. I’ve seen ones that look different but oem with orange and white and the shift pattern like zoomad said. I used to have a 205 one on my 78 k10. I’ll see if I can find a pic. Or maybe Chevy305 has a better pic.
This shifter ball was always on my truck. Should be an '84 NP208

Wow. I love it. The brightness and color reminds me a lot of my dad’s ‘57 with the red interior.

It’s turning out great.

Lol

Seeing that photo almost makes me want a dash that’s a color other than red. Not sure black would look good though. They always look spray painted to me. I don’t know just a thought.

Is there a darker red dash? That'd be a nice contrast but still keeping with the red theme.

What color are your A pillars and headliner going to be? I'd do white for both.
I think a black dash may look out of place.

Not sure. I don’t have any of those items. Not sure if I will mess with them anytime soon.

I haven’t done much since last post. Bolted in the drivers seat, put new door seals in, and wiped all the dust from it sitting for months. I did drive it to work today. Was nice and fun to drive but made me realize how much work I still have to do lol. Nothing on my gauges work. Steering wanders all over. Fuel hose from neck to tank leaks when fueling $5/gal gas. No heat. The list goes on!! Driving it does give me some motivation though.

I know the rear is narrower from the factory on purpose, probably to improve handling stability. But has anyone actually experienced ill effects from these spacers?
