Im going through the whole rear drive shaft thing too right now. With roughly 6 inches of lift i can no longer use the 2 u joint driveshaft. Mostly due to binding but length too.
Ill be using a cv joint drive shaft with a slip yoke at the moment. From what i gather its much harder to pull a rear slip yoke out of the t case in the rear than the front. Its sort of a temporary setup for me but if i had to choose between slip yoke and fixed id go with fixed.
If you dont plan on wheeling with crazy flex id say the slip yoke is fine but certainly put a CV in there.
