Other big news on the day. A buddy of mine text me today

Gonna trade me his SRW Dana 60, some new 5125 bilsteins.ford towers. 2wd steering boxes. A few other odds and ends and ill give him my 10 bolt. Works out good for me.
Gonna work on that this weekend hopefully

I like the sliders. Simple and effective.
thanks.
they arent as beefy or all-ecompassing as some. but i figure i can keep the doors clean just by not taking this where it doesnt belong, i just dont want something jumping up from the bottom and getting stuck in the sheet metal.

Good stuff steve :thumb:

I don't see the shocks

Oh wait there's the ends poking out :haha:

Eventually yes. For the moment it is just going to get 4.88s and crossover. And put under the truck.
Later plan is to do locker, hydro assist, 35 splines with Yukon hubs and full rebuild with bearings and seals and what not to basically make it 100% new, but right now I just want it in the truck with 4wd

Haven't even gotten around to putting that up yet

First tho. Been working on some sliders
Started with some hunks of angle iron and some bent tube.

Finding the height

Tacked up. Gonna finish weld and powder coat at my buddy's shop
so finished up the drivers side 100% except for powder.
added a gusset from the angle iron to the tube, welded the nuts onto the angle so its less tools to install

also added some split tube gussets between the frame tube and the slider tube. because of the saddle tanks, i know these mounts arent the strongest, but i'm hoping that with the gussets and "gentle" line choices, they should last for a while.
