6" lift. 3/4 ton axles.
Power adder 600. My buddy thought he was gonna run nitrous when he bought the efi. I have 0 intention of running nitrous on this engine. Although a cheap vortech supercharger wouldn’t be totally out of the realm.

Why not? You got a flat block on the stand if you window the block or decide to make Swiss cheese pistons.

More loom. Slow and steady. Getting the wires bundled makes a huge difference in appearance. Not sure I like the octopus bundle over by the booster but I don’t fee like wrapping them all together either.

Couple more hours plugging along.
You can see the stupid relays for the fans that started this whole bullshit.
Also learning as I go, If I was gonna do this on a street or a clean looker vehicle, I’d go and run the wires as one big bundle and just split the branches off the main truck more like factory.
For this one I did them in little small bundles so I could do small things at a time as needed. But live and learn I guess.

Well for offroad it is easier to diagnose if you have them separate

If you were to run the main section down lower on the firewall, under the booster, it would look some better, but then you have to be more diligent about making sure that it won't get something cutting into the loom and clamping it in place, and well as thinking more about heat damage. The way you did it means that you can see and work on it more easily.

The heat and being able to get to stuff with the dizzy and everything in place was why I went up with it. Plus it’ll keep it out of any water or BS I come across.

It’s still sitting in the garage. I recently started playing with wood workin since my dad sent me his router, so I’ve got that going for me which is nice.

I did order some more wiring parts, as well as a oil pressure sender and a coolant temp sender. I want to do the OPS before I put the dizzy back in.

Can comfortably say there’s been 0 progress on the truck in the last month.
Been doing a lot of goose hunting. Waiting for the weather to turn so we start getting some more to come down. Also playing with wood working more. Don’t judge too harsh for the guys that do actual wood stuff like @beags86 See below.
that stupid stove top took way too much time. more finished with India ink on the veneer, then cleared, painted design, then cleared some more.

The wine holders are
Purpleheart with an African Padauk heart insert. Other one is the purple heart , padauk, with ebony all glued together.

Each one of these I’ve made some pretty stupid mistakes and learning curves, but I’m trying harder with each one.
It’s hard cuz my work space has always been about metal and not so much about clean flat surfaces that don’t mess up wood.

Not a lot happening with this. Finished out the year and into spring with goose hunting. Got a sweet cackler on the last 12 minutes of the s season. Them took a trip to Missouri to a snow goose outfitter. Ended up cutting the end of my finger before lunch. Stitched up and finished the day. Currently working on making those snows into jerky. Did get a new sticker for my goose gun.
I’ve had a bunch of parts hanging out wishing for me to play with trucks again. tonight I put the starter on and the new oil pressure sender in.
we will see if we get sent home for quarantine without having to work from home, maybe I’ll get it running this month. Although at this point I’m seriously leaning towards selling it anyway.

Ouch! Finger damage like that hurts like a mofo. More than anything I try to protect my digits with mechanicing full time and all my home shit and farming. I see too many others with big fat ugly ass fingers from smashing them their whole careers.
