6" lift. 3/4 ton axles.
Thanks!

Also if anyone notices, the driveshaft wasnt hooked up in the front for these pictures. It fell out when I did all the springs and I waited to play with the forklift to put it back together. Although that didn't work cuz the dprings don't stop dropping out so I ended up just popping the end off the pinion and putting it back together

Well I wouldn't worry too much. I think your ords will work out great.
And at this point, at least up front the shock is my limiting factor. I've got it set for about 7" of droop. And it uses all of that and than some. Maybe when I get longer shocks ill crank the crap out if it before I hook up the new shocks and see how far it goes

Are you saying flexing droop? I just meant straight droop both sides lifted. I've got way more if I flex it out.

Gave the truck a quick bath tonight. The windows were so filthy I couldn't see out of them in the sun, so I decided to wash it and clean the windows before I go tomoro. Gonna load up on wrenches and sockets in the morning fuel up and we go a wheelin! The first time I've proper wheeled in years I think. Damn that's crazy to think about.

Trip report to come in a bit. Just got home

Cool, so when does the front locker go in? :)

Lol. Shortly. Those damn pipes would've been my bitch if I had one. Plus it's been so long since I've wheeled actual obstacles and not just pismo, I totally forgot to go at an angle and just went in straight like a dumb dumb

So here's the breakdown from yesterday.

It was just me wife and my buddy in my rig was I wanted to stay kinda mild. Especially since it was the shakedown run.

Few things definitely popped up that need handled.

1. Fenders need about 200% more trimming. :( Gouged my tires purty bad yesterday.
2. Front driveshaft needs another 6-7" of slip. Think I'm gonna have to get a custom one ordered cuz I'm not sure my local guy can get the long slip.
3. This isn't really new it's been on the list. But I want to get new gauges as well as rebuild the trans. , also being as my 208 is now stead dripping. I'm gonna yank that out and decide if I want to lose gear ratio by doing a twin stick 205, or lose front dig and go 241. I have a 205 in the garage but I'd need an input shaft since its 27 spline. But I'm not sure I want to suffer such a hit to my low range.

Lets see what else.
Oh. The way the heater hose is plumbed is water pump to intake. So they blocked off the radiator port with a rubber cap. Never liked it but was trying go by ain't broke don't fix it. Well 3/4 way up truck hill, that started pissing water, plus since I had over half tank, and the hill is so steep, gas was pouring out my fuel door. Between pissing water and at that second my front shaft popped out again so we got stuck there and had to back it down. That sucked. Plus I thought it was on fire at first bauxite all I could see was smoke (actually steam) and hear this burning popping sound (from the coolant spraying). So I'm standing on the brakes on this hill made up of silt and throw the fire extinguisher at my buddy. Wife jumps out and rolls halfway down the hill. So that was funny.
Get it to bottom and pop driveshaft back in, go out some water in and drive it home

Also, this thing drives like a peach! Blew my mind.
Steady cruise was anywhere from 60-70 depending on if I was paying attention or not. I hit 75 without really trying or screaming the engine.
Even on the 40s it rode smooth and tracked true. I let the wheel go a bunch and it always went straight without moving. Boggled my mind. So I no longer plan on going to a 4L80. This thing is fine with me. Just gonna rebuild it for now.

I think that's everything. I'll update if I think of anything else.

Oh after trying to climb the pipe section I definitely need/plan to get new front shafts and some kind of locker up front.
Also I did feel the slowness of hydro assist yesterday. While doing some power sliding I almost lost it. But I saved it cuz I'm a pimp lol
In the video it i think you can actually hear the tire rub bcuz I had it cranked so far I was locking the tire into the fender steering into the slide. And saved it. I'm loving the truck right now. Few things but other than that it was exactly like I hoped for.

:DVery nice truck. Can't get better than these 73-87's. You have a great example dude!:thumb:

Why than you. It's definitely coming along.

I forgot to add
The trip was about 130-140 miles including about 3 hours of wheeling. All together I went thru about 17 gallons of fuel, about 3 gallons of which poured out the fuel door. So that averages "around" 10mpg give or take. Pssssh **** I'm happy with that!
