man I hate that whole idiocy... :angry1::angry1:

for the eleventyth time in here    , it's not a "Ford solenoid" mod (the intraweb just sucks :haha:), it's a slave solenoid mod... :haha:

just cuz Furd ran it, doesn't mean it wasn't used in other apps..... AND, much better continuous duty solenoids are available than what Furd used.... just look to dizzle apps to see that...

I use a continuous duty 100amp from a 48v golf cart, oreilys sells them they're 3 post, works awesome.

yup, you can get pretty fancy with em.. White-Rodgers makes some badarse high amp solenoids...

Shhhhhh she's sleeping for sunday

Don't think I will be running the slave solenoid. I'll keep it simple stupid for now and change it after the bash if needed.

Thanks I can't wait to drive it and give rides.

It is looking like it's maiden trail is going to be in Moab.

Looks like Shawn took care of the wiring. :eek1:

Scared to see how many hundreds this is.:doah: but I respect clean well down wiring and emphasize good wiring.

So...how close are you to driving this thing?

I think we need a couple of updated checklists. 1 of tasks remaining before test driving, and 1 of tasks remaining before Moab. Assuming that Moab won't be your test drive. :haha:

The updated list isn't to bad, this isn't in any order.

wire engine
wire fuel pump
put gas in it
wire gauges
put a 4 low ground switch in
weld spring perches.
top off fluids
cut and install drivers inner fender
align the cab and bolt it down
wire the 91 lights and harness
buy a battery
check air pressure
install a tablet and obd2 blue tooth controller.
clean the bed
dyno tune the ecm
ship the hood and front core support and fenders.

I'm sure I forgot stuff but this has to be done and in Moab in 26 days and 10 hours. :haha:

ive a got a list in my head

fuel pump wire
engine wiring
charge system
chassis grounds
engine grounds
power distribution
headlights
tail lights
gauges and sending units

change rear perches and weld

shock mounts

bump stop mounts

go over steering and knuckle hardware, spacers, sleeves and such

you know..just a couple days worth:pimp:

It's braced with 3/16 butted up against it, with a diagnol piece going off the phb mount and the coil over hoop is right next to it and the weld in steering box is 1.5 inches away.

I think it should be good?

Sit under there when someone turns the wheel while on pavement. If there is any movement it will get worse not better.. Make sure you torque the bolts properly

Tomorrow is the day, epic win or a epic fail is going to happen. Everyone please say some kind words to the big man the 6.0 is a fire breather.
